Rainy November Weeks

How to Dress for November Weather
November weather can mean bright and cool, rainy and cold or downright freezing, so your November uniform should be able to do, well, pretty much everything. Start with a base (a shirt or sweater) and layer a jacket or coat over top that’s suited to the weather. Layers are key this month.
Merino wool, boiled wool and cashmere are warm without the bulk. Waxed cotton and other water repellent fabrics and shells will shield you from the rain. Corduroy and denim work well, too, and when it’s cold, nothing beats shearling or down.
When it’s dry, loafers and wool sneakers are ideal. When it’s wet, go for rubber or leather waterproof boots. Cream, navy, brown and olive will all coordinate easily, and can help tie together scarves, beanies, belts and other accessories, too.
