This policy explains what information StyleEditions collects when you visit this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. StyleEditions is an independent style publication, and this policy applies to every page on this site.
Information you give us
We do not ask you to create an account. If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message, and we use them only to reply to you. If you join our newsletter, we use your email address only to send it, and every email includes a link to unsubscribe.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, referring page and pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. We may also use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, that use cookies to tell us which pages are read and how visitors find us. This information is reported to us in aggregate and is not used to identify you.

Videos
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy enhanced mode. The player only loads, and YouTube only receives information about your visit, when you press play.
Information saved on your device
Our checklist posts remember which items you have ticked. That list is saved in your own browser storage on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
How long we keep information
Contact messages are kept only as long as we need them to reply and follow up. Server logs and analytics data are kept for a limited time and then deleted or kept only in aggregate.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom and US states such as California, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or limit how it is used. We do not sell your personal information. To make a request, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Children
StyleEditions is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
